Bayless and Associates provides comprehensive community-based behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics. This program is innovative and cost-effective with the philosophy to operate under three guiding principles:

a. Provide Quality Care

b. Understand and Cater to Client Needs

c. Be Fiscally Responsible

Our services are individualized, drawing from a wide spectrum of internal and external resources to meet the needs of our clients including: Functional Behavioral Assessments, Individual Service Planning, Family Service Planning, Transition Planning, Behavioral Planning, Psychiatric Services, Psychological Services, Therapy Services, Substance Abuse Assessment and Treatment, and Tele-psychiatry.

We value highly the coordination of care between the medical community, nursing facilities, assisted living homes and community support services.

Services for General Mental Health Issues in Adults and Geriatrics

Bayless & Associates, P.C. offers psychological services for adults with general mental health issues. All referrals participate in a highly structured and comprehensive intake assessment to identify their treatment goals, explore their strengths and needs, and establish a treatment plan specific to each client’s individual needs utilizing both formal professional and informal community-based sources of support.

These evaluations can be conducted within our offices or the community, depending on the patient’s needs. Our clinical staff is skilled in a wide variety of therapeutic modalities in the delivery of individual, family, and group interventions strategies. These include, but are not limited to, cognitive behavioral restructuring, functional behavioral analysis, brief solution focused therapies, bibliotherapy, parent skills training, social skills training, and stress management.

The guiding principles in determining the most effective treatment plan are three-fold and each component is equally valuable: improve psychological functioning, reduce behavioral problems, and improve quality of life. Bayless & Associates also utilizes state of the art telecommunication technology and, if indicated, can provide our services via telemedicine. This service provides a unique opportunity for patients in rural, medical, or secure settings as it affords a rapid intervention and response for populations limited by environmental constraints.

Tele-Consultations

Bayless and Associates provides behavioral health services to patients living in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and group homes in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We now offer an exciting new program that reduces costs while increasing patient’s access to behavioral health care through the innovative use of video conferencing.

Using the latest in bi-directional, real time video conferencing technology, Bayless and Associates practitioners can interact with patients in a variety of locations. These locations include but are not limited to: assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, group homes, and rural locations.

Bayless and Associates will provide appointment scheduling at the site to ensure that timeliness and responsiveness remain consistent. In addition, Bayless and Associates will provide a behavioral health technician to be at the site (excluding some rural locations) during times of service to ensure that each patient comfortably receives the appropriate level of care.

Following consultations, prescribers are able to write and send prescriptions to the patient’s local pharmacy through the use of our electronic prescribing system. This electronic transmission of medication orders from the prescriber’s desktop computer to any pharmacy reduces the possibility of a misread prescription by a pharmacist.

Tele-consultations are an allowable means of providing services within the state Medicaid program (ALTCS).

* Tele-consultation services now available weekdays from 8am-5pm. Services include (but are not limited to): admissions and enrollments (systems of care), psychiatric and psychological evaluations, capacity evaluations, counseling, staff trainings, and family consultations.
